How to make random teams
- Paste your names into the options box, one per line.
- Type how many teams you want under Split into teams.
- Press Make teams. Press it again for a new random split.
Teams are as even as possible: sizes never differ by more than one. With 12 names and 5 teams you get two teams of 3 and three teams of 2.

Is it fair?
Yes. The names are shuffled with your browser's cryptographic random number generator, then dealt out one at a time like cards, so every split is equally likely. Names stay in your browser; nothing is sent anywhere.
Questions
How many teams can I make?
From 2 to 50, and never more teams than names.
Can I make pairs?
Yes. Set the number of teams to half the number of names. With an odd number of names, one group gets three.
Is it a random group generator too?
Yes. Teams and groups work the same way.
