How to use the choice wheel
- Replace Choice 1 to Choice 4 with your own options, one per line.
- Press Spin, tap the wheel, or press the space bar.
- The wheel lands on your answer.
For a quick two-way call, press A or B; for a straight yes or no, use the yes or no wheel.
When a wheel helps you decide
When two options are close, spinning takes the pressure off. A useful trick: notice how you feel when the wheel stops. If you are relieved, go with it. If you are disappointed, you have just learned which option you really wanted.
Tip the odds
Leaning one way? Add *2 after that choice to make it twice as likely. The slice gets wider so you can see the new odds.
Questions
Is the choice wheel random?
Yes. Each choice gets an equal slice, and the stopping point comes from your browser's cryptographic random number generator. With the 4 example choices, each one has a 1 in 4 chance. With A or B, it is a true 50/50.
How many choices can I add?
Up to 1,000, one per line.
Can I play rock paper scissors?
Yes. Press Rock paper scissors and each spin gives one of the three with equal chance.
Should I let a wheel make big decisions?
Use it for small, everyday choices, or to find out which option you really want. For decisions about health, money or relationships, decide for yourself.
